Driver Dies in Incident After Speeding Car Hits Outer Gate

For the second time since January, a motorist crashed into the gates of the White House complex. A vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into a gate at the White House complex late Saturday, killing the driver.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, when a vehicle crashed into an outer perimeter gate of the White House complex. The driver, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Secret Service is investigating the incident. The White House was not on lockdown during the incident, and there were no reports of any injuries to White House personnel.
