Lewis Hamilton of the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team won the 2022 Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

Hamilton started the race in second place behind Ferrari's Charles Leclerc. However, he quickly passed Leclerc on the first lap and led the race for the majority of the laps.

Leclerc was able to close the gap to Hamilton in the closing laps, but Hamilton was able to hold on for the victory. This was Hamilton's first win of the 2022 season and his 103rd career Formula 1 victory.
