Chelsea star Cucurella was booed by fans of his native Germany, and has vowed never to cut his hair
Brighton and Hove Albion defender Marc Cucurella has said that he will never cut his long hair, despite it playing a role in Tottenham Hotspur's recent victory over Chelsea.
The Spaniard was involved in a dramatic ending to the match, as his long hair was pulled by Tottenham's Richarlison in the build-up to Harry Kane's winning goal.
Cucurella has since been praised for his resilience, and has said that he will not change his hairstyle despite the incident.
"I will never cut my hair," Cucurella said. "It's part of who I am."
Cucurella's comments have been met with support from Brighton fans, who have created a song in homage to their new hero.
